Finally an update on Unnatural:

I think the music that I have done on this album is absolutely unbelievable. The tempos on the songs are quite a bit faster than any of my previous stuff so I would venture that if people wanted to dance to these they could. Hell when I was recording the vocals I couldn’t help but move to most of them. I am extremely proud of the music. The vocals, however, are mediocre as usual (although they have their good qualities) and I think they detract from the music. But, as of this writing, I am getting used to them and might even eventually like them once I get all the volume issues settled to my satisfaction.

So, as far as the release date, all I have left to do is record “The End,” the instrumental last track, and it will be ready for everyone else to hear. I am pretty sure what I will do with it so chances are the album will be ready for another Tuesday release date. 🙂 I will post lofi tracks as soon as I can.

Yet another album, my obligatory “Self-Titled” album reaches my info page. In all my frenzy I had forgotten I had some songs written, and it just so happens they belong on the “emotional” album I talked about in an earlier entry. Anyway, the artwork for the cover is by far my most elaborate to date. I am just such a big fan of the gimp !

In other news … still no recordings, but I’ll be working on it soon. I have a lot of projects (including non-musical ones) going right now so it’s hard to really dedicate hoards of time to one or the other. Once all the recordings are done, they will be available here, just hang tight. It will be at least a month though so don’t get your panties in a knot. Ok, later. Oh and I want to give a shout out to the members of Unborn. Man you guys rock ! haha …

Well suddenly I am back underway in the production of my millions of albums. I think it all started with the recording of “The Abortion Prophecies.” The newest addition to my album list is “Philosophical Hiatus” which is intended to be a much lighter, more goofy album than my others. I get a lot of goofy ideas so maybe now I can export them.

I just recently began the recording phase of Unnatural, and I am really hoping to make it my best album so far musically, so it may take a while. Thinking it over, though, I think I have narrowed down my current musical influences for this album to the following four songs: “Rush – Subdivisions,” “Bad Company – Silver, Blue and Gold,” “Golden Earring – Twilight Zone,” and “The Police – Message In A Bottle.” If I can get these songs to that musical caliber, well then I will rock.

Also to update, I have done a few recording sessions with Unborn, and, as soon as I get my setup figured out (yeah I am always the one running behind), we will get some new tracks for them to pimp out. So, until next time.

There’s not much to say regarding my personal workings, but in a current session with Unborn we took a little fun time to record an impromptu album just for kicks. Their drummer, Justin, couldn’t hang around for the recordings, but, someone _philled_ in and, as it turns it, it may have been one of the epic recording sessions of all time. I compiled it into part of my albums section for this page because it is just cool–something a little less pedantic than my usual stuff, and a hell of a lot more fun.

Anyway, the album is titled “The Abortion Prophecies” and has six tracks. The songs are on the album in the order they were recorded, and they are all single takes–no practicing or rehearsing at all (as if that weren’t obvious.) We wrote and recorded the whole album in a little under an hour. If the lyrics and lo-fis aren’t up already, they will be soon. Enjoy.

I have uploaded information on two of the three (or more) albums I am working on. The first, “Unnatural,” is getting pretty close to the production phase. The second is “Sneaky Whisper” and is an instrumental album which is pretty much just getting really under way, although I have ideas for most of the songs. Any lyrics and song names I have done are posted, but this should be enough to keep everyone sated temporarily. 🙂

Ok fine I will admit a few of the projects I am working on. (No, none of them are even close to ready). I have an instrumental album under works, I have an album focusing on anthropomorphology that should shed some light on the human condition (but hell philosophers have been doing that for years and the human race continues to wander in the dark), and I have an album focusing more on emotional issues–something I do not generally express well. Contrary to that, however, some have really expressed excited sentiment to my “Endless Rain” track on Heaven.

Anyway, hopefully this will whet your appetite. I do hope to record soon, but honestly given where I am living currently and how things are set up I just don’t feel the necessary comfortableness I usually need when I record. Everything doesn’t feel intuitive, just very forced. But here I am, hoping. Wish me luck or something that means all will go well for me.

Amid dire requests for me to update my website, since I can’t seem to do it without strict coercion, I have uploaded lo-fi versions of Heaven and Hell for everyone to enjoy (or abhor). For my next albums, rather than write something specifically, I am writing songs at random with certain projects in mind. Once I have enough songs for an album that make sense together, I will start recording. This way, I am free to write any song without worrying about fitting it on an album, and I can maintain a greater musical continuity throughout the album when I do record it.

I will keep everyone posted (hopefully) with any major status changes. Also, I hope soon to actually put stuff on the other sections of this site that I have not yet done anything with. I still haven’t posted the picture of my newest guitar.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Perhaps soon there will be something worth your reading time written here.

Ok it has been a while since my last confession.

Due to financial reasons and logistical reasons (materials) I haven’t been able to make a real release of “Heaven and Hell.” But what’s the matter anyway? If anyone wants to hear it, they can. To make an update, I am working on (at least) 5 new albums and might get new material soon. When I feel ambitious I will upload LOFI versions of all my songs, but good luck to me.

I am fully prepared to market “Heaven and Hell” but am looking for an avenue. I am extremely pleased with it and I think it could do well commercially, but I suppose any artist could feel this way. But that’s enough Father.
