For some reason just searching www.bestbuy.com doesn’t find my cd. You have to go here and that will pimp it up. Sorry for the confusion.

Not much to say on the forefront. I have shown some titles of songs I will compose on Sneaky Whisper. I’ve also made a few changes on the forums engine (transparent to most of you) and done a few minor cleanup jobs on the site. Hopefully I can get my studio going again soon and upload some completed versions from Two Sides Of The Same Soul, which by the way has a couple of new songs listed.
Also, “Unnatural” is now for sale on BestBuy.com, and if you go in the store, you can buy it there !!! I have not sold a single copy yet, but I’m still enthusiastic. I would appreciate the support if you like what I do. It’d be nice to get a few new reviews to post as well. Email me and tell me stuff ! Anyway, that’s your news for 9 Nov, 2005. Good night, and good riddance !

I have corrected a few things on the forums. The topics and the discussion listings now display in the order of most recent post. I cannot fix the ‘ problem, but I did fix it so it doesn’t keep repeating over and over when you edit a post with a ‘ in it. However, if you want to put a “” in a post, you must put it back in EVERY time you edit a post or it will disappear. I also added a “Contact Users” ability but I haven’t finished the code for it as of this moment. I also gave users the ability to change their password.

Well as some of you knew was coming I have posted a new feature to my site: FORUMS! Now you can spend all your time sending me commentary and such. Just a few notes I want to send across. First of all, remember, I can delete anything you post, or the entire Forums section very quickly, so I would appreciate your inabuse of it. Beyond that, the forums work as such: There are broad categories of discussions which you the users create, and within them there are infinite discussions. The topics (the categories) will be listed alphabetically (though I may change this eventually). The discussions under each topic will always be listed in the order they will be created. Also, the passwording system is not necessarily hacker proof, it is really only in place to prevent search engines from bastardizing the conversations within, as well as to distinguish between talking members. In other words, I don’t care if you hack it, but what is the point anyway?
Also, chances are the forums are buggy. I tried my best to find all known issues, but I really haven’t even finished the code formatting and commenting so I will likely find a few more. That is to say, you will likely find some too. If you do, and you can explain to me exactly what is happening, please do so so I can reproduce it. If you can’t, keep your mouth shut about it. I will be posting updates and upgrades periodically until everything is satisfactory.
In other news, I am so pleased with “The Holler Wind” that I have decided to make “Sneaky Whisper” entirely a compilation of banjo instrumentals. That might actually keep me more focused on it … Anyway enjoy all the new stuff !

I finally decided to split “Jeremy Tharp” into a two CD album, and I’ve renamed it “Two Sides of the Same Soul,” reusing a lyric from “Love is a Hole.” Also I have posted a new song for that album (no recording yet though) as well as a song for “Sneaky Whisper.”
Enjoy.

Finally, I have good news to share all around. First of all, the songwriter’s show I played in on Friday went very well, except that I skipped one line in “The Fish,” and I played a little fast. Otherwise, the performances I think were some of my best. I am pretty sure I’ll get at least one song on the show next Sunday. (It will be played at 4pm, 91.7FM U92 Morgantown–Listen to the webcast!) I have put lofis of the tape recordings I made up for you to listen to (please excuse the quality). You will find them on the individual song pages. (I played “The Bird,” “The Fish,” and “The Man.”
Also, I have new pictures because finally I got someone to take pictures of me at a show. Now that section of my site doesn’t seem so worthless. You may have also noticed that I added two new features to my site. You can now scale the web page to give you more visibility if you are using a higher resolution, and I have made a theme option so if you don’t like my color scheme, you can use another. I am having difficulty coming up with theme options too so if you have an idea, please let me know and I will add it.
The biggest news, however, is that Unnatural CDs are now on sale. Check out the Purchase CDs section of this site for information on how to get your copy !

For anyone new to my site, welcome and hopefully everything is self explanatory. Drop me a line and let me know what you think. For everyone else, I think the Unnatural albums are just about ready (at least a few should be on sale by Tuesday [I hope … agh]).
Anyway, I am playing for a songwriter’s show in Morgantown this weekend. It is Friday evening in the Vandalia lounge of the Mountainlair, and I play at 11:30. I am going to play The Bird, The Fish, and The Man, in that order, so if you are going to be around, come watch me play. I could use the moral support.
Also, as I promised, as soon as I get things squared away with Unnatural, I am going to start selling singles of Lucky Town, so hopefully those will be available by December.

I have transmuted most of my frustration over the unpleasant transpirings of “The Abortion Prophecies,” enough to return them to this site. However, they are no longer an entity that is contemporary to this world and so this site has been whittled down to its original subject: me. The band Unborn is either no longer in existence or at least no longer connected to Poison Springs Records.
But for those of you who are interested in what’s left, I will have CDs for sale by October 25. My other projects are mostly in extremis because I have been working on a lot of little projects here and there.

For such a very brief moment, everything seemed convincing to me that Poison Springs Records and the big-time artist that I am were on the right track. However, my train seems to have run out of steam. I can’t seem to get information on anything with my booklet printing, and I am kind of annoyed by that. I guess everything is still in order, it’s just in limbo, and that bothers me.
But speaking of limbo, I have this terrible obsession with my own death and not saying and doing all the things I wanted to say and do (mostly say) before I die. So, in an unprecedented occurrence, I recorded demos of all the complete songs I have written for Self-Titled. No one knows when it will actually be done, so I figured I might as well leave some remnant in case someone is interested in the unlikely event of my death. There are mistakes and whatever. It’s just to get the idea down. Anyway, the lofis are either up or on the way up. I will try to get my train humping again, but I am no engineer, it seems.
