Finally, I have good news to share all around. First of all, the songwriter’s show I played in on Friday went very well, except that I skipped one line in “The Fish,” and I played a little fast. Otherwise, the performances I think were some of my best. I am pretty sure I’ll get at least one song on the show next Sunday. (It will be played at 4pm, 91.7FM U92 Morgantown–Listen to the webcast!) I have put lofis of the tape recordings I made up for you to listen to (please excuse the quality). You will find them on the individual song pages. (I played “The Bird,” “The Fish,” and “The Man.”

Also, I have new pictures because finally I got someone to take pictures of me at a show. Now that section of my site doesn’t seem so worthless. You may have also noticed that I added two new features to my site. You can now scale the web page to give you more visibility if you are using a higher resolution, and I have made a theme option so if you don’t like my color scheme, you can use another. I am having difficulty coming up with theme options too so if you have an idea, please let me know and I will add it.

The biggest news, however, is that Unnatural CDs are now on sale. Check out the Purchase CDs section of this site for information on how to get your copy !

Well what do you know ? Somehow my writer’s block has turned into seven new recordings in the last three weeks. Songs seem to come in spurts for whatever reason. Even the first five songs I did for this project I did in in about 2 weeks in January and February.

I mentioned the songwriter’s show on April 3. To update it went well. I played “I’m Coming Around,” “I Suppose,” “Disillusionment,” and “Bedroom Of The Sun” in that order with just my acoustic. I got relatively good comments, most of them saying though that I needed to write a few happy songs. Soon I should have the recordings from the show, and maybe one will even get on the air (Todd Burge who runs the show submits a compilation to the university radio station).

As far as finding a “permanent position” in the music industry, I am still searching, but I am focused more on finding a center of activity before I can do something like that. I guess I am just waiting for the right opportunity to present itself. Hopefully it will.

And finally I have uploaded low fidelity mp3s of my first two albums. I am limited on space so they will have to suffice for the time being. Down the road hopefully I will have more space to work with.
